It's more than just table dressing, which is of course what we think. But don't take it from us. Let these culinary greats share with you what they love about their kitchen and dining spaces.

Beppe De Vito

Beppe De Vito, famed chef and restaurateur of BRACI, talks to Luzerne candidly on his choice of tableware in a burgeoning F&B scene.

Describe your relationship with Luzerne.

It’s a partnership for life. From the people to the products, Luzerne has shown great passion and pride in what they do—which is what I emphasise the most in all my restaurants.

Why Luzerne? What sets Luzerne apart from the competition?

Quality, timelessness and heritage. We built each and every of our concept to last for years—even decades—and Luzerne products strike a good balance between the contemporary and the classic, which means they never go out of style.

How do you construct the dining experiences that you offer to your guests? What role does Luzerne play in the creation of such moments?

Braci is personal. It is a private kitchen where we can create our own expressions of Italian cuisine. Each and every dish on the menu is inspired by both my Italian heritage and my travels around the world. As such, the food will evolve with my experiences. Our guests appreciate the stories behind the menu.

And plating plays an important part of the experience, as well as the storytelling. Just like how an artist would choose a specific frame for his painting, the perfect plate will accentuate the dish visually. Luzerne’s elegant and beautiful tableware has contributed largely to that.

Having been awarded one Michelin star recently, how has Luzerne brought something different to your business?

Ultimately, Braci is an expression of top-notch quality, from the culinary approach to design and service. As Luzerne is being recognised by many as one of the best ceramic tableware makers, it has added a touch of luxe to the table.

Luzerne products strike a good balance between the contemporary and the classic, which means they never go out of style.
